Friends To
The End
“Friends to the End” was written by a woman who has seen what violent women can do. Domestic abuse is not limited to men who brutalize their wives and children. There are women who have crossed the line of common bitchiness and become dangerous; their attacks no longer verbal. Women are perhaps even more dangerous than men since they use weapons almost immediately when they become violent. In the hands of a predatory woman, the most common household object can become harmful-even deadly. Much of society refuses to believe that women are capable of causing the kinds of damage they can. Men are somehow supposed to defend themselves, to ‘control’ their women. But even the most highly trained ninja would be defenseless against a woman’s cunning and sneak attacks. In some cases, their children are in danger almost from the day they are born. Both husbands and children suffer daily behind a wall of silence. It’s ‘not nice’ to criticize women. It is not a ‘fun’ book to read. It is ugly and dirty and almost unbelievable in its frankness. But it is a story that must be told. It is also a love story. A story about
friendship and trust and two people growing together-“Friends to the End.”
Synopsis:
Keith is the quintessential tall, dark and handsome. At 30, he is highly athletic. His best friend, Mary, lives across the hall in a Seattle-area apartment complex. They live the life of carefree singles until the day beautiful blond Clarisse arrives on the scene. When Keith disappears not only from the social life at the complex but from his large, close, family, Mary is the only one with even an inkling of what is wrong. She hears strange noises at night-raised voices, odd comings and goings from Keith’s apartment. Keith is avoiding even his best friend, and their few accidental encounters serve only to increase Mary’s suspicions. He is young, strong, and smart, but even that may not be enough to restrain what Mary fears is a situation out of control. Her worst fears are realized
late one night, when Keith appears at her door, and tells her Clarisse
tried to kill her own newborn baby…
About Trudy W. Schuett:
She calls herself “A NewRenaissance woman living in the AZ desert,” because she says, “I’m interested in everything from archaeology to Zen, and how do you hang a label on that?” In her lifetime, Trudy W. Schuett has been a banquet chef, taxicab dispatcher, and government employee. She’s been a volunteer coordinator, public speaker-not to mention a wife and mother, and sister to three brothers. She’s a dancer, a healer, but above all, a writer. To purchase this or any other Hyperpedia title,
